Mulberry SS2012 Ad Campaign

Summer is almost here once again, so I have taken the opportunity to have a look at some Spring/Summer collections. I have looked at quite a few different collections from numerous influential designers, but out of all the collection I looked through, one of my favourites has to be the Mulberry SS12 campaign. The release of this campaign excites me so much as it is so bright and summery. The designs were strung from the found memories of Mulberry's creative director; Emma Hill's, childhood.

The colour pallet for this collection is perfectly reflected by the backdrop and use of the over sized props. Again with this shoot being inspired by fond childhood memories and being shot on the Brighton Pier, this campaign provokes a longing for our British summer days in return for this dull winter.
I am sure many of British people have experienced some wonderful summer days on the Brighton Pier, and I feel that this campaign uses that in a way to capture the eye of the British public, and in my opinion it is a very effective way.

Although this Mulberry collection would be way out of my price range, I am sure that I can find high street alternatives that can fit nicely into my summer wardrobe.
