London Fashion Week 2021

Yesterday I went up to London to go to London Fashion week at London House. My cousin Enya had her very own stall there, show casing her Label and her Vintage range. The ethos for yesterdays 'The Good Fashion Show' was along the lines of ethical, good fashion. There was such a huge range of stalls set up there, all with amazing pieces of clothing and accessories.

This is my Cousin Enya and her London Fashion Week stall.

Her label; Enya Patricia, had a range of re-modelled, second hand garments, that she has re-styled herself. Every time I see anything that she designs or makes I fall in love. Yesterday while at LFW I bought a black shirt from her, that she had customised, at the amazing price of just £25!!

This is just one item of her amazing and beautiful collection. Anything that she didn't manage to sell at yesterdays 'The Good Fashion Show' will be sold on her website: http://www.enyapatricia.com/#!

While in London yesterday I took the opportunity to go to Oxford Circus and do a spot of shopping, seeing as I did get paid! I bought myself a pair of Black American Apparel Disco Pants  at £70 that i have been after for oh so long! So i am very pleased to have my hands on a pair.

Being a massive fan of the Oxford Street Topshop store, I couldn't help but go and have a wonder around in there! I found myself in the make up section, lusting over all the nail varnishes and lip sticks! I ended up coming out with Lip Stick in Coy , Nails in Flamingo Coral and Nails in Adrenaline (which isn't on the Topshop website, but can be seen as the glittery nail varnish in the picture below).

I had a lovely day overall and enjoyed being surrounded by hopeful and up-coming fashion designers and their individual stalls.

Spring Summer 2012

So, it is about time we all thought about updating our wardrobes for SS12, right? Well from the look of the run ways, pastel colours and a softer variety of fabrics are the key adjectives for your SS12 wardrobe! This summers wardrobe is going to be a refreshing range of pastel shades. Some of the most prestigious labels, such as Louis Vuitton  and Prada, have embraced this pastel craze in some of their SS12 looks.

Not only are we seeing this pastel craze on the runways, but some of the biggest icons are also showing an interest. One of which is Lady Gaga, whom always seems to be one step ahead when it comes to fashion. She is already incorporating the lighter colours into her wardrobe, and seemingly she is keen on the colour mint. She has taken a softer more feminine approach to her choice of clothing, and it is working well!

Lady Gaga is known for taking fashion a little far. As you can see from this image, she is even incorporating the pastel shades into her hair and make up!

Another icon that works the pastel colours is Nicki Minaj, like Gaga, she is also one for taking fashion that one step further. Next seasons colour pallet is often seen on her head!

Nicki Minaj is also endorsing pastels through her choice of makeup..

This pastel trend is starting to become an epidemic, with leading make up brands such as Barry M and MAC using these colours in some of their products. Also other fashion labels promoting the spring/summer colour pallet into their garments, accessories and photo shoots.
